SL9B - Sneak Preview 1

Luckily the 9th birthday of Second Life, SL9B, has been last minute organised by a group of residents. And they have done a great job in only 8 weeks. Tomorrow open 20 sims full of fun. I saw so many highlights, that I will post in several parts. So lets start:

Birthday cake with candles

Mikati Slade designed the central stage at the corner of 4 sims in shape of a 9-cornered birtday cake. And that was a real challenge as she told me. She showed me her building platform where she created the model. To transfer the construction to the 4 sim corners she needed a script for perfect placement.

For the other works I saw, you will get just a short hint and a landmark:

A coloured Burj al Arab with rocket inside. Try it!

A case for animal welfare:

Do you ever wanted to walk up the walls? Here you can! Just jump on the strawberry and walk up.

The name of the beautiful and impressive tower made me smile: "Facets of LEA".  The word shard pile came in my mind. :) But seriously - Step on the plot and take your time to see the change of textures, great to watch.
